stage dive gone wrong stage dive gone wrong
Friday, September 3, 2010 11:40 am
So last weekend I was at Rockfest (which just in case you weren't there, it was awesome!) But there was no stage diving or mosh pits, nothing like that. But Aerosmith did do an awesome impression of Steven Tyler, falling off the stage ---  it was the funniest moment that weekend...not quite like this though.....

B&E B&E
Saturday, August 28, 2010 8:01 am
and no, I don't mean bacon and eggs........

My first break and enter, ya I'm that bad ass...not really. I shamelessly had to break into my own apartment because I locked myself out. You might think easy peasy but not quite when you live on the 3rd floor. Not only did I have to call good ol' co-workers to borrow a key to the station so I could temporarily steal a ladder, I took a station vehicle to boot!

I finally make it back to my apartment, and start the climb. P.S. LADDERS ARE THE WORST! just in case you didn't realize...

I made it to the last step, slit the screen blocking my way with a knife, and had to muster up the courage while humming the Indiana Jones theme song to throw my leg through the open window. After several failed attempts, a few bruises and cuts I made it!

I've never been so happy to see my crummy apartment before, it was great. What wasn't so great? Neighbours watching from the street and even stopped walking their dogs to point and watch. I've officially received the "crazy chick" title...but that's nothing new.

Bonus: I could make a sweet sidekick --- after all, I know how to B&E without the cops getting called.

who needs a car who needs a car
Saturday, August 21, 2010 12:43 pm

I've been looking into leasing a car, going through all my options...and there really aren't many in my (tiny) price range. but clearly if someone is willing to design me a jet pack, I would take that over a car any day. Really you'd be crazy not to...you don't have a slow driver in front of you (because you fly) and if you do ever get stuck in traffic...wait, once again, impossible because you really wouldn't have much air traffic other than a few birds.

Your kids will never be late for school getting on this jet powered school bus. Goes up to 530mph! I wonder who thought this was a good idea....

You mow it, you water it, you rake leaves off of it. Your lawn.
Ever thought you could paint your lawn?.....

The World's most expensive beer...comes with roadkill? The World's most expensive beer...comes with roadkill?
Friday, July 30, 2010 8:06 am
At $765 a bottle I'd expect something pretty darn special about this beer. Don't think roadkill was on my mind. Ok, to be fair it's not roadkill. The beer sounds alright, infused with juniper berries and is 55% alcohol...but grey squirrel and stoat coozies? A little much maybe...I'm just thinking that everytime you'd go to have a drink, it would be like you were having it's guts or doing mouth-to-mouth with a rodent. Just a thought.

The Snackadium The Snackadium
Friday, July 23, 2010 8:20 am
It's sad to say, but I cheer for the worst teams on the planet.
The Leafs and Argos......I really don't know which one's worse. A friend of mine once said to me that, in a sense, I can never be dissapointed since I shouldn't have any expectations for them to actually win. That hurt. Guess that theory doesn't work for me. But I thought this would be kind of cool--- The Snackadium. I can easily eat my pain away with that bad boy. I just wonder how long it would take to make this thing! Maybe a once a season occasion.....

Bryan Adams...flea markets and microphones (Bare Bones) Bryan Adams...flea markets and microphones (Bare Bones)
Saturday, July 17, 2010 2:34 pm
Right off the top I have to admit, Bryan Adams rocks my socks!
This probably won't be my last blog about him...but check this out. It's called Bare Bones and he pretty much gives a short story about himself and the music he loves and (of course) the really old school microphones he's collected over time sitting in his studio, just waiting to be jammed out with :)
Enjoy!
