Contest to Name New Clinton Community Centre
Sunday, July 25, 2010 5:25 pm
Central Huron is asking for suggestions for a name for its new community centre.
Councillor Pamemla Stanley says they haven't decided on a prize yet.
But the contest is to name the new community centre and arena that will replace the current arena in Clinton.
Stanley says the name should be creative, should not include the name Clinton because the centre is a regional community centre and should not suggest it's an arena because the centre will also include an exercise centre and several other features besides the arena and community centre.
Stanley says contest submissions should be emailed to fundraiser@centralhuron.com.
